Handmade Watercolors and what you can achieve with them

A sample page where I capture all watercolors made with pigments

I’m crazy for probably all kind of art supplies.

Yes I use commercial artists grade watercolors, but I felt to experiment a bit more and now I feel like a full artist while making my handmade watercolors.

I went to the next level, and now I make also watercolor pans and tubes of the highest quality possible.

This because any watercolor made by me, are made only using pure pigment and binder made with arabic gum, honey or glycerine and clove oil. No brighteners, no fillers, nothing more than color and binder. This recipe allows to have maximum brightness, maximum luminosity and the real hue of any pigment is enhanced.

Building on that I also make watercolors using my earths. I’d like to think that I can contribute also to the sustainability: my earth and pigment harvesting is made locally, just few meters away from where I live and paint.

In this article I built a bit more on that matter.
